On Saturday 15th October 2011 Chordiem in conjunction with the De Vere Village Hotel Swindon Leisure Club are organising one of this years toughest challenges – The Mega 24 Hour Team Tag Duathlon Challenge which will see up to 16 teams of 2 set off to find out how far they can travel in 24 hours just using the gyms treadmill and bike. We hope to raise over £3000.00 to help the Great Britain Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Squad inlcuding local Swindon star gymnast Jade Faulkner in their bid to qualify and compete at the London Olympics next year. The squad are training full time, but there is a lack of national funding for this sport and the girls are doing all they can to raise funds themselves. This event hopes to give them a boost of well needed funds to help them on their way.

If you think your fit enough for the challenge and would like to take part with a team partner or to be partnered on the day and beleive you could help raise some funds through sponsors contact for more information by e-mail to jon@chordiem.com. There are still a few places left, but these are limited so contact us soon if you would like to do your bit a for a Great Britain Team!

The Great Britain team will also be attending the event on Sunday 16th October from 3.30pm where we will be opening the doors to the publics to come and meet the team, find out what it takes to qualify for the Olympics and get some autographs and of the budding Olympians.
